Academics are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) for long-term placements in a range of primary and secondary schools across the Cannock area. These are full-time, ongoing roles starting from September, offering the opportunity to make a real impact in the classroom.
Responsibilities
* Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups, both inside and outside of the classroom
* Assist with the planning and delivery of differentiated learning activities
* Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement education and behaviour plans
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
* Support pupils with additional needs including SEND, SEMH, and those who require academic or emotional support
Qualifications & requirements
* Have previous experience working with children or young people (in education, care, or similar settings)
* Are patient, reliable, and resilient
* Have a genuine passion for education and supporting learning
* Can commit to full-time, long-term placements
* Hold or are willing to obtain an enhanced DBS check
