Learning Support Assistant – Specialist SEN School

We are recruiting Learning Support Assistants to join a specialist SEN school in the Shawford area, supporting children and young people from early years through to KS2. Pupils have a range of needs, including moderate and severe learning difficulties, complex needs and autism, and benefit from a calm, structured and nurturing environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with children and young people and wants to make a positive difference in their daily learning and development. Previous school experience is not essential. We actively encourage applications from candidates with backgrounds in childcare, nurseries, care, health, youth work, family support or other roles where supporting others has been central.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
