Head of HR – NW London, Hybrid – £125,000 – 12 month FTC, ASHDOWN GROUP
Neasden, NW London – 3 days per week in the office and 2 days at home.
A highly successful, household name brand is looking for a Head of HR to join their circa 200 person business on a 12 month fixed term contract. As the Head of HR, you will join a diverse group of talented individuals who come from a wide range of backgrounds and possess an extensive array of experience. Reporting to the Senior VP, you will join an entrepreneurial people‑focused team where you will develop and deliver a comprehensive HR and People strategy that is aligned to the wider goals of the business.
The ideal candidate for this Head of HR role will combine strategic leadership and planning to ensure effective people‑management systems are in place and develop a strategic approach for the future HR function.
Key responsibilities
* Work with the Senior Management team to continually review and improve HR practices.
* Lead the implementation of new systems and processes to enhance efficiency and support the ongoing performance of the organisation.
* Ensure compliance with rapidly changing employment law and maintain appropriate HR policies and procedures.
* Oversee the development of the HR Manager and Recruitment Manager.
* Support the HR Manager in providing effective support and advice to line managers.
* Lead and manage the HR Team.
Qualifications
* Strong generalist background with extensive change‑management experience.
* Significant experience in modern HR practices and management – a CIPD qualification would be beneficial, although not essential.
* Proven leadership experience is essential and a track record of driving organisational change is key.
* Excellent analytical and communication skills are essential, as is a passion for people and driving employee engagement.
The salary on offer for this role is £80,000 – £85,000 plus benefits.
