Overview
ServiceNow Architect (Telecoms) – 6 Month Contract. Hybrid work in Newbury or Reading (2-3 days per week remote, 2-3 days in office). Outside IR35 paying up to £500-£550/day. Start ASAP (ideally October/November 2025).
TSOM (Telecom Service & Operations Management) project experience with ITSM and other modules (TSOM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, SecOps) is required. This is a chance to work with a global IT consultancy on a ServiceNow project for an external client.
Responsibilities
* Lead the design and implementation of ServiceNow modules, including ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, SecOps, and custom applications.
* Design and implement CMDB and Discovery.
* Lead integrations with ServiceNow using REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Servers, and related technologies.
* Apply ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer) and manage the ServiceNow data model.
* Act as the technical authority on ServiceNow architecture, design, and best practices; define and drive platform strategy, roadmaps, and governance.
* Ensure platform scalability, security, performance, and integrations with other enterprise systems.
* Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security and regulatory requirements.
* Apply knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices.
* Demonstrate excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications
* Strong experience leading TSOM (Telecom Service & Operations Management) implementation projects.
* Extensive hands-on ServiceNow ITSM and related modules experience (TSOM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, GRC, SecOps).
* Proven ability to design and implement CMDB and Discovery.
* Proven expertise in ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, MID Servers).
* Experience with ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide, Flow Designer) and data model.
* Technical architecture skills to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable ServiceNow solutions.
* Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM processes and best practices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
