Registered Nurse – Pebble Mill Care Home

Location: 2 Mill Pool Way, Birmingham, B5 7EG

CQC rating: Good

Salary: £20.64–£22.71 per hour, £1.50 on weekends, £2 overtime

Working pattern: Full‑time, 36‑hour days, 8 am‑8 pm, alternative weekends


About the Role

As a highly respected member of our team you will play a pivotal role in delivering person‑centred care, supporting independence, and honouring choice for our residents. We will train you on all aspects of digital care to help you focus on clinical excellence.


Key Responsibilities

* Ensure the overall well‑being of residents, meeting their physical, emotional, and social needs.
* Carry out assessments, develop, implement, and review individualised care plans.
* Provide coaching and informal teaching for colleagues and care professionals.
* Monitor work areas and practices to ensure safety and compliance with standards, policies, and legislation.


Key Skills & Qualifications

* Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN, responsible for managing the unit and all clinical duties.
* Experience maintaining high clinical standards and supporting CQC tasks.
* Strong communication and reporting skills for effective handover of clinical issues.
* Confidence in providing clinical guidance and leading the care team.
* Enhanced skills required for night work, including critical thinking, self‑reliance, and emergency management.
* Ability to build connections with residents and their families with kindness and support.
