Injection Mould Toolmaker – Stevenage
Newstaff Employment is hiring a skilled Injection Mould Toolmaker in Stevenage to manufacture, modify and maintain high-precision mould tools; in this role, you will work within a newly fitted toolroom and use advanced machinery to support efficient injection moulding production.

Salary: £35, – £40, per annum + Benefits

Key Responsibilities
1. Manufacture and maintain injection mould tools with precision; therefore, production runs efficiently and consistently
2. Operate CNC machines, lathes and milling machines to produce high-quality tooling components
3. Use CNC wire erosion equipment to create detailed tool parts
4. Assemble, test and modify moulds to ensure they meet strict quality standards
5. Carry out preventative maintenance and repairs to minimise downtime
6. Wire hot runner systems and carry out fault finding when required
7. Use hand tools such as files, hacksaws and grinders to complete finishing work
8. Document tooling specifications and processes clearly for quality control
9. Work closely with colleagues to improve tooling performance and efficiency
Essential Skills & Experience
10. Approximately four years’ experience in injection mould toolmaking
11. Strong understanding of injection moulding processes
12. Experience operating CNC machinery and manual toolroom equipment
13. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings confidently
14. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
15. Proactive and team-focused approach
