Mt White Station http://www.mtwhitestation.co.nz is one of New Zealand’s largest family-owned high country properties. It has diversified into three resilient pillars: merino farming, tourism operations and a thriving honey business. We are a cohesive team of about 15 individuals who work and live a big life at Mt White Station. We are currently looking for a talented Honey Pillar Leader.
HONEY PILLAR LEADER
What we are looking for in you:
* Managing a commercial beekeeping operation comprising of 1,500 colonies.
* Strong people leadership and communication skills, effectively utilized while leading a small team of 3 resident beekeepers.
* Cheerful, solutions-focused personality aligning with our Purpose, Vision and Values.
* Active cooperation with Farm and Tourism Pillar Leaders and involvement with the wider Mt White Station community.
* Proactive upkeep of vehicles, plant, machinery, and buildings.
* Reporting to the station owner.
* Ability to enjoy living in remote location with like-minded people.
* Couples applications welcomed, families welcomed.
