Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
* Assist the Head Chef in planning and preparing menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
* Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance monitoring to ensure efficient operations.
* Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
* Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
* Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
* Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
* Contribute to the development of new recipes and menu items to keep offerings innovative and appealing.
* Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Skills
* Proven supervisory experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant setting.
* Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation.

* Sound knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
