We are currently partnering with a leading international development finance institution seeking a Finance Lawyer to join its London-based legal team.
This is a rare opportunity to work on complex cross-border financing transactions while supporting investments that drive economic growth and development across emerging markets.
The Opportunity
You will advise on a broad range of debt investments and financing structures, including:
* Corporate lending
* Trade and supply chain finance
* Risk participations
* Structured and innovative financing arrangements
* Sustainable and impact-focused investments
Working closely with investment professionals, you will support transactions from origination through to execution and portfolio management, providing commercially focused legal advice on high-profile international matters.
Candidate Profile
* England & Wales or New York qualified lawyer
* 4+ years' PQE
* Strong banking and finance experience gained at a leading international law firm and/or financial institution
* Experience advising on cross-border lending and debt transactions
* Familiarity with LMA documentation
* Commercial, pragmatic and solutions-oriented approach
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Experience within development finance, trade finance, structured finance, sustainable finance or debt capital markets would be advantageous but is not essential.
