Overview
We are delighted to offer an exciting Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatry position within Rochdale CAMHS (6 PAs), delivering high-quality clinical input to a supportive, multidisciplinary team. The post is designed with flexibility in mind and can be extended to a full-time (10 PA) role by combining with 4 PAs in either the North Eating Disorders Service or the Crisis Team. Alternatively, a 7 PA portfolio can be created by adding a session in the Care for Children's team. This opportunity is ideal for newly qualified (post-CCT) or experienced consultants who wish to tailor their role to their clinical interests, whether focusing on specialist expertise, leadership, medical education or building a broader portfolio career. The post is suitable for an experienced Consultant, or a suitably qualified Specialty Trainee (ST6), who wishes to work with the team in the development of the Service. The successful candidate will join a well-established and experienced Tier 3 Community CAMHS multidisciplinary team at Rochdale CAMHS, Birch Hill Hospital, Rochdale, OL12 9RD. The post is a replacement post due to one existing consultant partially retiring and the 6 sessions becoming available. The post holder will work as part of a comprehensive CAMHS team with special responsibility for designated clinical pathways as per further discussions and areas of interest. The post is established and managed within the Trust\'s CAMHS Care Hub, and the post holder will be joining a dynamic, supportive, and expanding Consultant group, now 20 in number and growing.
