Location: Wolverhampton
Team: Ageing Well
Rate: £31.97 per hour
Contract: Initially 3 months
Hours: Full-time - 37 hours per week
Start Date: ASAP
Working Pattern: Office-based + hybrid/agile
Driving Licence: Essential
Wolverhampton City Council are seeking 2 x Social Workers to join the Ageing Well Team.
The successful candidates will support older adults across the city by carrying out assessments, completing Care Act duties, managing caseloads, and ensuring timely, person-centred interventions. You will work both in the office and out in the community, so applicants must be local and able to travel across Wolverhampton.
Requirements:
SWE registered Qualified Social Worker
Must hold a driving licence and have access to a vehicle
Experience working with older adults in Adult Social Care
Strong understanding of the Care Act 2014 and Mental Capacity Act
Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable with hybrid/agile working arrangements
