About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Lecturer to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality instruction in English language and/or literature, supporting student development, and contributing to curriculum enhancement.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver lectures, seminars, and tutorials in English language and/or literature
* Develop and update course materials in line with academic standards
* Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and coursework
* Provide academic guidance and mentorship to students
* Support curriculum planning and development
* Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
* Participate in departmental meetings and academic activities
Requirements
* Master's degree (or higher) in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field
* Prior teaching or lecturing experience preferred
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Ability to engage and motivate students from diverse backgrounds
* Familiarity with modern teaching methods and digital learning tools
Desirable Skills
* Experience with curriculum development
* Knowledge of academic assessment standards
* Research experience or published work in a relevant field
* Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
