Our client, a long-established and continually growing company, currently has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to join their team at their Portadown depot.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Carrying out Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMI) on trucks and trailers
Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults using manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment
Repairing and maintaining engines, gearboxes, braking systems (ABS/EBS), lighting systems, and more
Preparing vehicles for annual MOT testing
Attending roadside breakdowns and carrying out running repairs where required
Completing job cards, maintenance records, and safety documentation accurately
Maintaining high standards of workshop health and safety

Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience as an HGV Technician / Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
Strong diagnostic and repair skills
Knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Relevant mechanical qualifications preferred
