KOOSA Kids are on the lookout for individuals who share our passion and commitment for delivering high quality childcare, playwork and children's activities. We are now recruiting for an After School Club Childcare Playwork Assistant at our club at Buryfields Infant School in Odiham, Hook (RG29).
Responsibilities
* Actively and enthusiastically assist the After School Club Manager in the safe and organised running of the After School Club at Buryfields Infant School in Odiham, Hook (RG29).
* Help set up, organise and deliver a range of activities daily and pro-actively encourage children to participate
* Assist in the preparation, serving and tidying away of 'snack time'
* Have awareness of, and maintain sensitivity for, any children with additional needs (Physical, Behaviour, Dietary)
* Develop strong relationships with all children at the After School Club ensuring every child has as much FUN at the club as possible
* Actively develop a thorough understanding of relevant Ofsted standards & KOOSA Kids internal policies & procedures, including safeguarding
* Ensure all activity areas are left clean and tidy at the end of each day
Skills & Experience
* You will have a passion / interest in working within a childcare, early years or playwork setting
* Have a fun and energetic nature
* Be reliable and able to effectively communicate with colleagues and children alike
* Be able to relate and engage with children aged between 4 - 11 years
* Opportunities to gain qualifications and further growth & development, will be available for candidates who match our ambitions
* Full training and inductions will be provided to all After School Club Assistants
Hours
Monday - Thursday, 2.55pm - 6.00pm, term-time only
