Exams Assistant / Lead Invigilator
We are looking to recruit a new Exams Assistant / Lead Invigilator to join our team. The successful applicant will assist the Examinations Manager in the administration and organisation of all aspects of External and Internal Examinations. In addition, they will organise and supervise the invigilation of all public and mock examinations held in the school in accordance with the Joint Council of Qualifications (JCQ) Regulations.
Salary and Start Date
Salary: Scale 4 Pt 7-8 (£8,583.13 - £8,719.99) actual salary per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
Start Date: December 2025
Hours
* 5 hours per week (to be worked on Fridays) for 39 weeks per year
* The successful applicant will be required to work full time (37 hours per week) during the following exam periods:
o 2 weeks in January and February (4 weeks)
o 1 week in April
o 6 weeks in May/June
* Plus, additional hours as required in August on results days and during the post-result period.
Candidates able to offer slightly fewer hours or a variation of the hours listed above would be considered. This can be discussed at interview.
