Yard Operative with FLT – Builders Merchants (Crewe)
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Builders Merchants based in Crewe, seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative with a Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the day-to-day operations of the yard, ensuring smooth loading and unloading of materials.
* Operating a forklift to move stock and materials both inside and outside the yard.
* Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
* Picking, packing, and preparing orders for delivery.
* Working alongside other team members to meet operational goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
* Valid FLT Licence.
* Previous experience in a similar role within a yard or warehouse environment is advantageous.
* A good understanding of health and safety procedures.
* Ability to work well as part of a team, and independently when required.
* Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks.
What We Offer:
* Hourly Pay: £14.10ph
* Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:00 – 17:00 with occasional Saturday mornings.
