The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to all PPM and reactive tasks at Checkout.com. They should be competent in electrical and mechanical works and able to communicate with and organise external contractors, as well as handle compliance issues on-site. This is a hands-on role suitable for anyone looking to expand their knowledge in the FM environment.
Job Description / Main Purpose:
* To receive reactive and PPM tasks from elog books.
* To ascertain the materials required and request these from the relevant appointed Account Manager.
* To discuss and plan with the relevant staff for executing the tasks.
* To determine exact specifications for tasks, possibly by consulting working drawings or plans with the Account Manager.
* To refer any arising issues to your Account Manager and report on task completion.
* To undertake urgent building services maintenance and repair tasks as they arise.
* To use all equipment and materials in accordance with Health & Safety guidelines.
* To ensure client and company tools and equipment are maintained in good order, reporting any faults to the Account Manager.
* To oversee the general day-to-day running of the site.
Knowledge and Experience
Vocational and Technical Skills: NVQ level qualification in plumbing or electrical work is desirable but not essential.
Experience: The candidate should have experience in building maintenance and construction practices, especially concerning Health & Safety.
Interpersonal Skills: When dealing with client personnel and at all levels, the candidate must use tact and diplomacy to gain cooperation and manage interactions effectively.
