We are seeking a Technical Sales Representative with experience within a hydraulic, industrial, or engineering background to cover Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop a key account management concept for relevant customers and ensure they are contacted regularly.
* Manage customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
* Assist with maintenance and development of the sales and marketing plan to grow the customer base.
* Manage the region-wide lead generation process with mobile engineers.
* Plan and organise daily activities to ensure calls are logged and ready for follow-up, and formulate a weekly sales plan with priorities, goals, and achievements.
* Build a pipeline of opportunities for new business, negotiate and close sales opportunities to meet targets.
* Ensure customer feedback is sought and captured promptly.
* Provide technical support for the team of mobile engineers.
* May occasionally provide on-site support for project work and/or training.
What we are looking for
We take pride in our team and value each member. This remote role requires high self-motivation, strong organisational skills, and the ability to multitask. You should have a proven track record in area sales with strong references.
* Proven experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
* Experience in engineering, hydraulics, industrial, or pneumatics sectors is essential.
* Engineering or related technical qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent customer service, communications, and negotiation skills.
* Strong administration skills and ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication and IT skills (MS Office, internet, email).
* Strong problem-solving abilities to identify and provide solutions in technical contexts.
