Senior Sales Representative - International / Strategic Accounts
Cardiff (Hybrid - 3 days office based)
Salary up to £55,000 + bonus & commission
Robert Half are working with a highly respected, international organisation within the financial services space, seeking a Senior Sales Representative to join their growing team based in Cardiff.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident, self‑motivated sales professional with experience managing multinational or strategic accounts, operating in a fast‑paced and results‑driven environment.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, engaging senior stakeholders, and closing complex sales with multinational organisations. Working consultatively, you will position a range of value‑added services aligned to client needs while nurturing long‑term strategic relationships.
Key Responsibilities
* Build and maintain a strong new‑business pipeline while developing existing strategic accounts across commercial sectors
* Identify, upsell, and deep‑sell opportunities internationally, understanding client trading hierarchies and decision‑making structures
* Use a consultative sales approach to deliver tailored solutions, including third‑party collections and credit management services
* Leverage knowledge of credit and risk management environments to align services with client requirements
* Influence complex decision‑making units and senior stakeholders
* Collaborate with internal strategic account teams to cross‑sell internationally and communicate new products and services
* Develop strong working relationships with prospective accounts and channel partners
* Act as a trusted advisor to both new and existing clients
* Prepare and present competitive pricing proposals while protecting margin
* Maintain accurate CRM records to support forecasting, reporting, and sales planning
* Represent the business at industry and networking events
About You
* Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within financial services, or professional services
* Strong commercial acumen with a consultative approach to selling solutions
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
* Ability to interpret customer, market, and sector insights
* Self‑starter mentality with experience managing multinational or strategic client portfolios
* Highly customer‑focused and relationship‑driven
* Confident communicator with a positive, collaborative attitude
* English fluency essential; additional languages advantageous
