đź› The role
You’ll join the Operations team, working closely with the Head of Manufacturing and external manufacturing partners to ensure products are made to specification, on time, and at scale.
📦 Key responsibilities
1. Coordinate manufacturing activity with Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs)
2. Book production slots and manage purchase orders
3. Monitor production schedules and finished goods delivery
4. Manage raw material and packaging availability
5. Oversee quality checks and ensure products meet specifications
6. Maintain batch records and manufacturing documentation using ERP systems
7. Act as the day-to-day contact for CMOs, resolving issues quickly
8. Drive continuous improvement across cost, quality, and efficiency
9. Support R&D with new product introductions and technical requirements
10. Work with design and commercial teams on packaging, demand, and forecasting
🧠Skills & experience
Essential
11. Degree in Chemistry or closely related discipline
12. 5–10 years’ experience in manufacturing or operations
13. Background in animal health, FMCG, or CPG
14. Strong understanding of quality systems
15. Comfortable in a fast-paced, scaling environment
16. Organised, proactive, and confident managing priorities
Must Have
17. PhD in Chemistry or similar
18. Experience working with CMOs
19. Exposure to GMP or ISO environments
20. ERP system experience
