Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and challenging Media Studies lessons across Key Stage 4 (and potentially KS5).
* Inspire students to develop a deep understanding of media language, representation, industries, and audiences within Media Studies.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Media Studies curriculum.
* Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Media Studies.
* Potentially contribute to extracurricular Media Studies clubs or media production projects, fostering a practical understanding of Media Studies.

Qualifications & Experience:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Media Studies.
* Degree in Media Studies, Film Studies, Communication Studies, or a related field.
* Proven experience teaching Media Studies at Key Stage 4 (experience at KS5 advantageous).
* Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of various media forms and industries within Media Studies.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire creativity and critical thinking in Media Studies.
* A passion for the media and its impact on society, and the ability to convey this to students in Media Studies.
