What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide a secure and safe environment for all staff and visitors on site. The role involves applying thorough access control procedures, carrying out site inductions, planned and ad‑hoc site patrols, and other duties as determined by the Assignment Instructions. In the event of an emergency, you will follow prescribed escalation/communication procedures with Site Management, Corps colleagues and the emergency services.
You will be working an average of 60 hours per week covering days and nights. Shift pattern: Mon‑Fri; 1 week of days, 1 week of nights. Shift times: 06:30‑18:30 or 18:30‑06:30.

What You Will Need
* Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus
* A valid SIA Front‑Line License – essential
* A valid UK Driving License – desirable
* A valid First‑Aid qualification – essential
* Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good and effective working relationships at all levels
* Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure
* Excellent IT skills including Microsoft software packages (e.g., Excel)
* Able to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards and SC clearance standards
What You Are Going to Do
* Validate and verify Safe and Secure Security networks
* Front of house and loading bay duties
* Ensure duty of care to all on‑site staff
* Provide security oversight on the delivery of contract work
* Observations and near‑miss reporting including reporting of any incidents
* Escort and supervise when prohibited items are brought on or taken off the floor
* Perform Safe and Secure checks (taking over from Security Audit) and receipting
* Report any breaches of security
* Control site cameras and booking system, including conducting CCTV investigations when required or instructed
* Maintain all security‑related documentation for audit purposes
* Respond to emergencies and assist with evacuation and searching of the buildings following site emergency response procedures
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure the highest security levels are in production
* Assist with Safe and Secure training and cover where necessary
* Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed
