Job Description:
Support an inter-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals including nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, and therapists in delivering care and rehabilitation. Await confirmation from the treating psychotherapist before assessing clients for Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. Develop treatment plans for issues such as stress, anxiety, insomnia, pain, memory, concentration, low self-esteem, and confidence. Work under supervision of the psychotherapy team regarding PTSD and depression.
Utilize techniques like Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Mindfulness Coaching, Compassion-Led Therapy, and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Assist clients in setting goals using Solution Brief Therapy techniques and monitor progress. Work independently with support from senior therapists as needed. Identify additional support needs and refer clients to other specialists when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation including clinical notes and reports, attend interdisciplinary team meetings, and update client reports timely. Apply manual handling principles per legislation and departmental procedures.
Participate in supervision sessions, contribute to service development, promote high-quality care, escalate issues following procedures, and comply with clinical governance standards. Engage in clinical audits and research when directed, and support other clinical areas as needed.
