Position: SEN teacher QTS
Location: Stanstead Abbotts
Contract Type: Full:Time Permanent position
Salary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications

Randstad Education is recruiting experienced and dedicated SEN Teachers for positions in schools across Stanstead Abbotts. The role requires creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating learning environment for children with special educational needs.
This is a permanent position and you will be required to support five days a week Monday : Friday inline with school hours.

Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse learning needs of SEN students
* Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for pupils, setting clear targets and monitoring progress
* Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to support students learning and development
* Assess pupils abilities and progress regularly, adapting teaching methods as necessary
* Collaborate with parents, carers, and external agencies (e.g., therapists, psychologists) to provide holistic support
* Manage classroom behaviour and promote positive social and emotional development
* Maintain accurate records and prepare reports on pupil progress for parents and senior management
* Participate in professional development to stay updated on SEN best practices and legislation

* Strong classroom management

* Be an inspiring and engaging communicator
* Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience
Personal Attributes:
* Be comfortable and confident in managing challenging behaviours.
* Ability to engage with, and build rapport with the students.
* Be creative, proactive and flexible in their supporting style.
* Have experience with SEN or knowledge learning difficulties.
* Experience up to key stage 3/4
* QTS/PGCE equivalent
