Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant to join our team. The role involves providing high-quality diagnostic clinical reports, advice, and opinions on patients referred to our service. You will be proactive in supporting pathways that guarantee rapid assessment, treatment, and clinical decision-making for all patients, and you will provide Consultant-led care, including clinical leadership and supervision of junior medical staff. The post requires upholding the highest standards of clinical care for all patients attending the hospital for diagnostic and radiology procedures, with strong skills in general and Gastro-intestinal radiology.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Essential: Full GMC Registration (with licence to practice). CCT Specialist Registration or will obtain within 6 months of interview date. CESR. Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent), IELTS or graduate of a UK Medical School.
* Desirable: Distinctions, scholarships, prizes; other degrees (e.g., BSc, MSc, MD); at least five years in specialist registrar training scheme.
Clinical Experience
* Essential: Ability to offer expert clinical and diagnostic opinion on a range of problems; take full and independent responsibility for clinical care; prioritize clinical need; supervise multi-disciplinary teams; demonstrate experience relevant to stated specialist interest.
