The team are passionate about our children and young people services which provide specialist mental health assessment and interventions for children and young people with complex and enduring mental health problems, including those with a Learning Disability. The CAMHS Learning Disability Team provides a county wide service, which covers hubs based in Lincoln, Grantham, Boston and Louth. We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals who can provide safe and effective mental health interventions to children living in Lincolnshire. Advert The CAMHS LD team consists of a Consultant Psychiatrist, Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologists, Learning Disability Nurses, Independent Prescriber, Occupational Therapist, Speech & Language Therapist, an Assistant Practitioner and you will work alongside these professionals to complete holistic mental health assessments, observations and direct intervention work in both a home, school and respite setting, which includes offering advocacy and signposting to other services. You will also support the transitions between services for children and young people who have a learning disability. The applicant may also get the opportunity to become involved in service development and research/audit opportunities.
