About the Role:
As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the IPG filling plants. Your responsibilities include:
1. Reactive and preventative maintenance of our production plant and equipment, ensuring 100% compliance with safety and engineering standards.
2. Collaborating with subcontractors, design authorities, and internal teams to execute maintenance work and ensure compliance with industry best practices and regulations.
3. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of cryogenic pumps and industrial packaged gas filling systems to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
4. Proactively identifying and addressing potential safety and production issues to ensure employee and public safety.
5. Contributing to solutions for equipment obsolescence and upgrades to improve operations.
What You'll Bring:
* A strong background in Mechanical Engineering (essential)
* Proven experience in the Industrial Gas Sector, Chemical, and Oil industries; experience on COMAH sites is advantageous
* Proficiency in CMMS, with knowledge of plant and process instrumentation, controls, electrical components, and safety systems
* Understanding of Pressure Safety Systems Regulation and written schemes
* Ability to work independently, organize, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations
* Commitment to accuracy and safety and compliance procedures
* Full UK Driving License

* Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
* Hours: Mon-Fri, 07:30 - 16:00, with 1-hour lunch
* Transport: Company van included with a fuel card for site travel
