St Catherine’s School seeks an additional Deputy Head during a period where there are other changes and new appointments to the Senior Management Team. You will work closely with the Head on strategy and operations, join an ambitious senior team which values high standards, good humour and collaboration, and lead dedicated and positive staff who are committed to the care of our pupils.
To be successful, you will have a love for teaching, have strong organisational and management skills, and be a person who seeks positive and supportive relationships with staff and pupils.
This post is a flexible one, and the portfolio of responsibilities can be discussed; applicants are invited to outline their experience, ideas about leadership, and personal strengths during the interview process. The post could be filled by someone with experience in safeguarding, pastoral care, academic management and/or school logistics. Responsibilities are assigned within the senior team according to ability and preference and the needs of the School.
You will be expected to play a full and positive role in all aspects of school life and fully support St Catherine’s inclusive Catholic ethos. You will be able to demonstrate and encourage best practice and be able to motivate others. The role includes a small teaching allocation.
