Description Responsibilities: Embed a mind-set of total conformity, adhering to and developing a complete Quality Management System (QMS), Safety Management System (SMS), Environmental Management System (EMS) and all associated Business Manuals. Manage basic conditions for a successful team by acting within delegations outlined in HR policy and following appropriate policies, processes and procedures including absence management, team efficiency, personal objectives and timekeeping. Implement strategies to build team to being a high-performing unit with effective standardisation, improvement planning and coaching/mentoring of direct reports. Analyse, plan, manage and evaluate cost and performance trends of the core parts suppliers, market trends, emerging technologies and external influences to best manage risk and reduce cost. Implement and sustain effective daily management routines. Set short intervals of control to feedback to the team off-plan conditions whilst focusing on enablement to cultivate success. Define and engage with couriers to develop and improve shipping capability. Champion customer initiatives to establish StandardAero as the supplier of choice. Manage programme escalation and partner with programme management to support commercial requirements for customers. Manage internal reporting to ensure holistic transparency and promote accountability. Foster a culture of smart working, waste minimisation, and continuous improvement, lead by example, encourage the team to follow and highlight, promote and reward team and individual endeavours. Proactively develop and maintain effective working relationships with all business functions. Share and seek best practices including networking with other team leaders and mangers. Role model core behaviours within the team, providing demonstrable leadership qualities. Partner with the trade compliance team to ensure shipping operations are effective and compliant. Deputise for your line manager and peers if and when required. Position themselves as the SME for logistics and support requests from other business units as required. Responsible for safe and timely domestic and international shipping for the engines BU. Desirable Skills and Experience More than 5 years’ experience in material fulfilment or procurement roles Working understanding of the regulatory requirements of the aerospace industry, Managerial and leadership training and qualification Organisational Relationships Reports to Supply Chain Manager (Engines) Essential integration with Quality and Logistics.
