We’re looking for an enthusiastic and compassionateSupport, Time & Recovery (STR) Workerto join theNewington Community Mental Health & Wellbeing Service (CMHWS)— part of our innovative, integrated model for North Solihull.
As an STR Worker, you’ll play a vital frontline role in helping people move forward in their recovery journey. You’ll work alongside a skilled and friendly multidisciplinary team to providepractical, social and emotional supportto individuals in the community — empowering them to set goals, regain confidence, and connect with the opportunities and services that matter most to them.
This is a dynamic, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You might be helping someone rebuild their daily routine, supporting them to attend appointments, or exploring new ways to enhance wellbeing and independence through creative, community-based solutions.
You’ll hold a small caseload, allowing you tobuild real, trusting relationshipsand deliverpersonalised, recovery-focused carein line with the CMHWS approach — combining compassion, collaboration, and practical problem-solving.
Working within afully integrated CMHT–NMHT team, you’ll be part of a service that’s breaking down barriers between pathways, improving access, and shaping a new way of delivering local mental health support.
• You will ensure that there are effective care pathways to a range of
• services that will enhance individual recovery. This will be achieved by ensuring close liaison with identified partners and community organisations including employment /training providers, housing and mental health. You will also engage in low intensity psychosocial interventions to service users on caseload supported by clinical supervisions provided by clinical leads and psychology colleagues within MDT setting.. You will be able to signpost services users to the appropriate facilities and provide effective, time and need led support
