No-one Dies Alone Ayrshire
They are seeking compassionate companions for their face-to-face vigiling service, sitting with individuals who are dying and alone. Volunteers will receive training and ongoing support through peer groups and regular companion support sessions. A PVG check is required. Please note, this role involves companionship only, with no additional care responsibilities.
Experience Required
Applicants should be compassionate, good listeners, and capable of self-care. Volunteers are responsible for their own transport to support locations.
Support and Training
Training will be provided on volunteering expectations and end-of-life care.
