Aircraft Structures Technician Permanent - Full-time - 40 hours/week - 9-day fortnight We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Structures Technician to support airframe structural and composite repairs on the C-17 Globemaster fleet at RAF Brize Norton. Working across the structures bay, flight line, and hangar, you will deliver high-quality metal rectification and structural repair solutions in both standard and confined environments. Key Responsibilities: Perform structural damage assessments, repairs, and replacements of aircraft frame skins and components Carry out metal fabrication tasks including drilling, riveting, bolting, countersinking, and corrosion removal to tight tolerances Manufacture and install repair parts using aircraft-specific workshop tools and machines Interpret engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions with precision Accurately document maintenance and rectification activities in digital and manual records Certify completed work in accordance with regulatory and company quality standards Collaborate across teams to ensure effective maintenance scheduling and high operational availability of the aircraft Adhere to strict safety protocols when working at height or within confined spaces on the aircraft Essential Requirements: Proven experience in metal rectification; aircraft structural repair experience highly desirable Completion of a recognised BTEC/ONC/NVQ Level 3 in Civilian or Military Aircraft Engineering Familiarity with technical documentation and maintenance record-keeping systems Strong understanding of aircraft structural principles and repair techniques Disclaimer: This vacancy is being advertised by either Advanced Resource Managers Limited, Advanced Resource Managers IT Limited or Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited ("ARM").
