Overview
We are seeking to appoint dedicated Teaching Assistants who are passionate about fostering a love of learning and believe that every child can succeed. The role involves supporting pupils both individually (1:1) and in small groups, working in classrooms, during break and lunchtime supervision, and alongside teaching staff.
We are seeking staff to work 30 hours per week, typically 6 hours per day, over 5 days each week, usually 8.30am to 3pm (includes ½-hour unpaid lunch break) Contracts will be permanent contracts of employment, term time only (38 weeks per year plus 5 weeks paid holiday, taken during school holidays)
This role is paid on the Bucks Pay (Schools) pay scale at Range 2 between ISN 11 to 15, depending on experience.

About the role
Our Teaching Assistants are primarily based within one year group but may at times support across different classes and year groups placing staff appropriating allowing us to draw on and make best use of their areas of strength and expertise.
Key responsibilities include:
7. Supporting pupils with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP)
8. Ensuring pupils' safety and adhering to safeguarding procedures
9. Assisting with the delivery of the planned curriculum
10. Using resources effectively to enhance learning
11. Delivering support in small groups or on a 1:1 basis, including leading interventions
12. Supervising pupils at break and lunchtime (playground or dining hall)
13. Helping to create a positive, welcoming classroom environment that promotes independence
14. Working closely with the class teacher to plan and address any concerns
15. Monitoring and tracking pupil progress in line with school procedures
16. Undertaking additional duties as directed by the Deputy Head Teacher, SENDCo, or Head Teacher within the scope of the role
17. Using technology (e.g. computers and iPads) to support administration, training, and learning activities
