Physics Teacher

Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging physics lessons across KS3 to KS5.
* Use creative and innovative teaching methods to support a range of learning styles.
* Assess, monitor and report on student progress.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
* Contribute to departmental planning, meetings and school events.
* Support students in both academic and extracurricular science activities.
* Ensure safeguarding and promote student wellbeing.
Requirements
* A degree in Physics or a related subject.
* Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or equivalent).
* Experience teaching physics, ideally up to A‑Level.
* Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuous professional development.
* Passion for inspiring students and promoting scientific thinking.
Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching physics in UK secondary schools.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* Legal right to work in the UK.
* Commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children.
Compensation and Working Conditions
* Start date: September 2026.
* Full‑time, permanent position.
* Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience and qualifications).
* Competitive rates inclusive of holiday pay.
