Role Description
This is a full-time Business Development Manager role for the central belt of Scotland and Northern England. The primary responsibilities include identifying and developing new business opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and creating strategic plans to expand market presence. The role involves collaborating with the sales and marketing teams, meeting sales targets, and preparing regular reports. The candidate will also represent the company at industry events and ensure alignment with organisational goals. This is a hybrid remote working role, reporting into our head office in Glenrothes, Fife.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in timber frame business development, sales strategy, and client acquisition
* Strong skills in building and maintaining client relationships and delivering excellent customer service
* Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* Ability to develop and implement strategic growth initiatives for market expansion
* Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
* Experience or knowledge in the construction or timber frame/ structural insulated panel sector is a must.
* Self-motivation, goal-oriented mindset, and the ability to work independently
