Transport Administrator
Our client is a large Haulier with various sites across the UK and is currently looking for a Transport Administrator to work at one of their offices based at Corringham in Essex.
The role will be working within an office environment within a team.
Duties will include:
· Monitor Inbox and action and reply to emails in a timely manner.
· Placing bookings onto system
· Speaking to customers
· Assist in checking rate confirmations, rating jobs and sending invoices.
· Liaise with support teams to solve any IT or system issues that affect your team.
· Participate in all day to day bookings / administration activities including, actioning emails, speaking to customers, distributing emails to correct people.
· Assist with effective liaison, support and assistance between bookings/administration department and customers / rest of company.
· Participate in basic administration jobs such as answering telephone calls, data input & arranging meetings.
Requirements
Experience required:
· Strong IT skills - knowledge in Microsoft Office & Excel and be willing to learn new software
· Experience in an office environment.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Driving license and own transport preferable as our office is difficult to get to.

Salary negotiable depending on experience.
Hours 08.30 – 17.30 - Mon – Fri
