The Role
This is a key role in the business, focused on process, compliance, and governance.
Reporting to the Sales and Operations Directors and working closely with the Operations Manager, you will:
* Design and implement structured, standardised processes
* Introduce robust internal audit frameworks
* Strengthen risk management practices
* Drive cross-department accountability
* Lead the business toward ISO 9001 accreditation
You won’t manage a team, but you will influence every department. You’ll work across:
* Operations
* Finance
* Sales
* Marketing
* Customer Service
This role requires someone who is confident enough to challenge senior stakeholders, structured enough to document properly, and pragmatic enough to make improvements stick.
You will take ownership of the following core areas:
Process & Governance
Mapping, documenting and standardising core business processes across departments, identifying inefficiencies and driving measurable operational improvements.
Compliance & ISO 9001
Supporting the company’s journey toward ISO accreditation by implementing structured audit frameworks, aligning documentation and preparing for external audits.
Risk & Operational Oversight
Maintaining the company risk register, overseeing Head Office compliance, and ensuring health & safety and governance standards are consistently upheld.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Establishing KPIs, analysing performance trends, and driving cross-departmental accountability and structured improvement.
The package
* £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE)
* 22 days annual leave + bank holidays

To be successful, you will…
* Have experience in compliance, governance, auditing or process improvement
* Be confident writing SOPs and managing document control
* Be comfortable pushing back when required
* Have strong attention to detail
* Be analytical and commercially aware
* Ideally, have experience supporting or leading ISO accreditation
* Be calm, methodical, and quietly authoritative.
