This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and young people while working in a collaborative, multi-agency environment. You will work alongside professionals from social care, police services, and the voluntary sector to safeguard vulnerable children and young people from exploitation and help them rebuild their lives.
About the Role: As a Youth Intervention Practitioner, you will play a key role in empowering young people aged 7-26 by engaging with them directly and providing the support they need through 121's, groupworks and outreach support. You will also deliver training sessions and contribute to the planning and execution of our youth-led projects, ensuring that young voices are central to everything we do.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience working with children and young people, especially in a safeguarding context.
* A passion for supporting young people's voices and helping them influence change in their community.
* A proven background in social care, youth work, education, wellbeing or a related field.
* The ability to build trusting relationships with children, young people, their families, and professionals.
* A good understanding of the challenges children and young people face, including exploitation, youth violence, and wellbeing.
* Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
We believe that lived experience brings valuable insight, so we strongly encourage individuals who have personal experience in this field to apply.
A full clean driving licence, with access to a car and appropriate insurance is necessary to fulfil this role.
Why Join Us? At Link to Change, we are driven by the belief that children and young people should have a voice in shaping their futures.
