Our public sector client is seeking a dedicated Executive Support Officer for a new project launching soon. What You'll Do:
As an Executive Support Officer, you will ensure the smooth operation of the Chief Executive's activities. Your responsibilities include:
* Diary Management: Organise complex schedules, prioritise workloads, and coordinate paperwork to keep the Chief Executive on track.
* Meeting Support: Act as Meeting Secretary by preparing documents, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
* Information Management: Draft, proofread, and coordinate correspondence, reports, and presentations. Condense and filter communications to save time for Directors.
* Manage Deadlines: Support the Chief Executive in organisation and prioritisation to meet critical deadlines.
* Stakeholder Interaction: Liaise with senior stakeholders, including government departments, local authorities, and business leaders.
* Event Coordination: Plan and coordinate internal and external events efficiently.
* Travel Arrangements: Book travel, hotels, and conferences.
What We're Looking For:
To excel, you should have:
* Proven experience as a PA/EA supporting at the executive level.
* Excellent diary management skills and confidentiality.
* Strong organisational skills and independence.
* Flexibility to adapt quickly to changing priorities.
* Interpersonal and communication skills with attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
* Experience in producing accurate, timely meeting minutes.
* Public sector experience is desirable but not essential.
* Degree-level education preferred.
