Overview
Worldpay is seeking a Regional Business Manager - South Wales for our team in Longford, England. This role focuses on driving new business sales of Worldpay’s payment solutions and expanding market share within a defined territory.
We are looking for talented, self-motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial mindset who can contribute to a collaborative and award-winning team while meeting demanding business objectives.
What You’ll Own (Responsibilities)
* Achieve monthly sales targets aligned to overall company objectives
* Develop monthly strategy and business plan for ideas to attract new business and extend market share
* Generate new business and actively manage your pipeline of predominantly self-generated leads using Sales Force
* Build professional relationships across the local business network; join business forums and attend events
* Build and maintain a network of introducers, ensuring Worldpay is the first choice for referrals
* Apply the WORLDPAY sales methodology to identify customer needs, propose solutions, negotiate and agree best terms for both company and customer
* Actively sell multiple Worldpay products (including standalone and integrated POS systems and e-commerce solutions) to new SME customers within a defined territory
* Identify cross-selling opportunities and drive revenue growth in line with pricing policy
* Complete appropriate paperwork with customers, adhering to legal and compliance standards and ‘right first time’ guidelines
* Work with customer service and onboarding teams to resolve queries and ensure a seamless service
* Provide feedback on local trends, competitor insight, customer needs, sales and lead information, product and marketing requirements
* Support Regional Director with induction of new team members and sharing best practices
What You Bring (Qualifications)
* A full, clean driving license
* Proven experience in targeted B2B field sales (merchant sales experience essential)
* Comfortable selling up to C-level
* Excellent consultative approach, solution selling, negotiation and communication skills
* Ability to operate with high energy and flexibility in a fast-paced, evolving environment
* Self-starter who requires minimal oversight but contributes to team performance
* Ambitious, career-oriented with high integrity
* Experience with a consultative selling methodology and selling to mid-market clients
* Understanding of the payments market
