About The Role
As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It influences every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will plan and implement care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.You will get to know residents and their families, ensuring personalized care plans.Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will uphold high standards of care and influence your team positively. Whether demonstrating how to use a walking frame, assisting at mealtime, or communicating with families, kindness will be your guiding principle.Assisting the Registered Nurse and Care Manager, you will be involved in providing social and recreational activities, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.
Ideally, you will have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be willing to work towards a Level 3 qualification or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. Your positive energy, ability to get along with others, good record-keeping skills, and effective time management are essential. Your communication with residents and colleagues should always be considerate and kind.
