Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and high-performing primary school in Wythenshawe to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a full-time position starting in September.
Role Details
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
* Location: Wythenshawe
* Contract: Full-time, term-time

You will join a committed team, providing personalised support to pupils with SEN through one-to-one and small group interventions, helping every child to thrive both academically and emotionally.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored support to pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis and in small groups
* Support the class teacher with engaging, differentiated lessons
* Assist in the implementation and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers, the SENCO, and external professionals
* Monitor pupil progress and adapt support strategies to meet individual needs
The Ideal Candidate
* GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
* Previous experience supporting children with SEN
* A patient, empathetic, and flexible approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Level 2 Safeguarding training (or willingness to complete this)
