Job Description
The Accounts Assistant will do the following duties;
* Invoice Processing: Reviewing and verifying invoices for accuracy and proper approvals.
* Payment Processing: Preparing and processing payments, possibly through various methods.
* Reconciliation: Reconciling vendor statements with internal records.
* Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of vendor information, payment records, and other financial documents.
* Expense Reports: Processing employee expense reports.
* Data Entry: Entering accounting information into the system.
* Vendor Relations: Communicating with vendors to address billing issues.
* Reporting: Assisting with the preparation of financial report
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
* Prior experience in a similar accounting or finance role.
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
