We're looking for someone confident with CAD/CAM workflows who can take customer drawings, models or specifications and develop high-quality CNC programmes in Alphacam. Whether your background is hands-on CNC machining or dedicated programming, you'll be joining a team that values precision, collaboration and flexibility. Your work will involve transforming various types of customer input into clean, efficient machining files. This includes: Roles and Responsibilities: Reviewing CAD files and technical drawings to understand dimensional and fabrication requirements. Extracting and preparing geometry needed for CNC programming. Converting 3D STEP models into accurate 2D layouts ready for toolpath creation. Identifying features such as rebates and V-grooves and incorporating them into the machining strategy. Generating toolpaths using appropriate feeds, speeds and tooling. Rebuilding customer designs from PDFs, models or engineering drawings. Adding fabrication-specific features that may not be shown but are required for production. Ensuring all toolpaths and machining parameters deliver accurate, repeatable results. Skills and Qualifications: Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, RhinoCAM or similar systems CNC routing or machining-programming or operating Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Manufacturing environments such as joinery, furniture, signage or precision fabrication You don't need to come from an Alphacam background specifically-skills from a wide range of CAD/CAM platforms transfer well.
