Senior EC&I Designer 📍 Renfrew or Teesside | Full Time We are supporting a leading engineering services organisation in the search for a Senior Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Designer to join their project delivery team within the process and energy sectors. Key Responsibilities Produce EC&I design deliverables across FEED and detailed engineering phases Generate cable routing layouts, block diagrams and single line diagrams using AutoCAD Perform cable calculations using Trimble (Amtech) and lighting calculations using Dialux Participate in design reviews, technical queries and change control processes Conduct site surveys and support documentation for work packs and design packages Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated plant design Requirements HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience) Minimum 5 years’ EC&I design experience within process, industrial or energy environments Experience with AutoCAD, Trimble (Amtech), Dialux, and ideally E3D Strong understanding of British and international engineering standards The Opportunity Join a project-focused engineering team delivering complex industrial and energy sector projects, working alongside experienced multidisciplinary specialists.
