About The Role
Salary: Station Manager B plus flexible duty allowance
Hours: Full-time, 42 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term secondment until 31st March 2028
Location: Agreed base of work, with a requirement for national travel
As the Lead Authority for National Resilience, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service (MFRS) invites applications from existing Fire and Rescue Service (FRS) specialists for a secondment opportunity within the National Resilience Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Capability Team. This role will support the delivery of key elements of the USAR New Dimensions Two programme, contributing to the continued development and strengthening of national resilience capability.
The Role
* Support the planning and delivery of agreed workstreams within the New Dimensions Two programme
* Work collaboratively with national partners and stakeholders
* Contribute to the ongoing development of national USAR capability
