Lead IT ConsultantHybrid / London£60,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits + Flexible WorkingA growing technology services provider is looking to appoint a Lead IT Consultant to oversee a team of Technical Consultants while ensuring the successful delivery of client projects and consultancy services.This role is ideal for an experienced Lead IT Consultant who combines strong technical understanding with a clear focus on service delivery, leadership, and project oversight. The successful Lead IT Consultant will guide the consulting team, ensure consistent delivery standards, and act as a senior point of contact for key clients.While technical knowledge is important, the primary focus of the Lead IT Consultant will be leading the consulting team, maintaining high delivery standards, and ensuring projects are delivered successfully for clients.The Role• Leading and mentoring a team of Technical Consultants as Lead IT Consultant• Overseeing service delivery across consultancy and project engagements• Ensuring consistent quality across technical documentation, designs, and project delivery• Supporting consultants with guidance, prioritisation, and escalation where required• Conducting regular 1-to-1s, mentoring sessions, and performance reviews• Working closely with clients to understand requirements and ensure successful project outcomes• Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and development of consultants• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standardWhat We’re Looking For• Previous experience working as a Lead or Senior Project Delivery Consultant or Technical Consultant within an IT MSP environment• Strong understanding of Microsoft cloud and infrastructure technologies (such as Microsoft 365 and Azure)• Experience delivering or overseeing IT infrastructure or cloud projects• Proven ability to lead or mentor technical consultants or engineers• Strong organisational and stakeholder communication skills• A service-focused mindset with the ability to ensure consistent high-quality project deliveryBenefitsThe company offers a £60,000 salary, car allowance, flexible working, and a strong benefits package, alongside the opportunity for a Lead IT Consultant to lead a team and influence service delivery within a growing IT services organisation.
