The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, helping ensure accuracy and efficiency across all accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities: Process purchase invoices, credit notes, and staff expense claims accurately and promptly.
Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and liaise with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
Assist with sales ledger management, including raising customer invoices and allocating payments.
Support credit control activities, including chasing overdue accounts professionally.
Daily bank postings, bank reconciliations and maintain accurate cashbook records.
Process bank payments, including supplier payments, payroll, and ad hoc transactions in line with company authorisation procedures.
Manage the accounts mailboxes, ensuring all incoming emails are monitored, prioritised, and actioned promptly.
Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules.
Assist with VAT & CIS returns and credit card reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
Liaise with internal departments including sales, operations, and procurement to ensure smooth financial processes.
Provide general administrative support to the Finance team as required.
Skills and Experience: Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant, Finance Assistant, or similar role.
Sound understanding of bookkeeping and general accounting principles.
Experience using accounting software such as NetSuite.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong attention to numerical accuracy.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively across teams.
Self-motivated and able to prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
Professional and courteous manner when communicating via email and telephone.
Desirable Qualifications: AAT Level 2–4 (or studying towards qualification).
Previous experience within the data centre or construction industry environment is advantageous.
