Position Summary

Working Hours: Continental shift pattern (4 on, 4 off) working 12 hours Days & Nights
Main Accountability
As outside Area PMO you will be responsible for keeping the Starch/WWTP or AD plant running and performance strong. You operate the equipment in your area, follow operational processes, and work closely with your shift team. Any issues or defects you find should be rectified or escalated to the corresponding team member to support.

Responsibilities
* Ensuring one of the following:
o Starch Plant and associated ancillary equipment are always functional to deliver the required level of Technical Starch, whilst maintaining a quality supply of Starch to 3rd parties.
o Wastewater Treatment Plant and associated ancillary equipment are always functional to deliver the required level of trade effluent, whilst maintaining a quality supply of both recycle and permeate water back to the site.
o The AD Plant and associated ancillary equipment are always functional to deliver the required level of Factory waste to the AD plant.
* Adhere to standards to achieve equipment performance: safety, operating and maintaining equipment and line quality checks
* Proactively work to improve safety, for example raising and helping to resolve near misses
* Owns the execution of basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, inspection and lubrication, as part of an autonomous maintenance system
* Can identify and log Issues/defects on their equipment using the appropriate systems
* Own change over on their equipment autonomously
* Adhere to escalation process for any unresolved issues during their shift
* Handover information to next shift
* Share knowledge, coach and support colleagues
* Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by proactively participating in everyday problem solving
Qualifications
* Previous Outside Areas & manufacturing experience desirable
* FLT License Preferred, although training will be given.
* Computer Literate with experience in E-mails, Microsoft Teams, PDF, SAP
* Experience in Chemical Handling
* Ability to work at Height, Alone, Outdoors & prioritise workload based on impact to site.
* Practical, hands-on operational of production equipment
* Experience in cleaning, checking equipment for defects and basic part replacement.
* Be great at spotting and solving problems with production or equipment.
* Take ownership of your work and aren't afraid to dive into tough challenges
* Follow processes and safety standards closely, with a strong focus on keeping things safe and running right
* Ability to contribute to a positive team culture to achieve shared goals
* Be genuinely curious about finding better ways to keep equipment running smoothly.
* Communicate clearly—whether you're writing things down or talking things through.
* Enjoy sharing what you know and helping others grow, while continuing to learn yourself.

* Annual salary: £38, including a 23.5% shift premium).
