Job Title
Electronic or Electrical Service Engineer – Marine Industry
Overview
Earn great money installing, commissioning, fault finding, and repairing instrumentation, PLC controls, and automation systems for the marine industry. Field based, with travel across the UK and occasional international assignments.
Salary
Up to £65,000 per annum.

Location
South West of England – Cornwall / Devon. Commutable locations include Penzance, Newquay, Falmouth, Bude, Truro, Bodmin, Plymouth, Exeter, Taunton, Torquay, Crediton, Yeovil, Weymouth, Minehead, Bristol.
Responsibilities
* 80% scheduled electrical/electronic installation, commissioning, and refit projects – typically 10–14 day away assignments, mainly around Falmouth/Devonport.
* 20% reactionary fault finding and repair (1–2 day trips) on first and third‑party instrumentation, PLC controls, and automation equipment.
* Majority of work in the UK; occasional international projects (up to 6 weeks per year) to Gibraltar, UAE, Bahrain, and USA.
Requirements
* Practical, hands‑on experience as an electronic or electrical service/maintenance engineer in an industrial setting.
* Good practical grasp of electronic engineering.
* Experience or familiarity with temperature, pressure, & level measurement – an advantage.
* Basic Allen‑Bradley and Siemens PLC programming and maintenance experience – to a lesser extent.
* Flexible, prepared to travel and stay away as required.
